Digital Artists |
|
|
Digital Artists is an emerging consortium of independent audiovisual producers and scriptwriters, most from TV's experiences, who who wish to get the best from growing economic and self-publishing opportunities arising from Web TV and - even more - from those arising from Desktop to Home TV migration.
They will get the opportunity to use, in conjunction with the Audiovisual Telematics District and largest Telco's, technologies to distribute contents "from Internet to home sofa" (Net Sofa TV) ready to be used with any broadband connection - as well as shared spaces, infrastructures and production, remixing and digitalizing up-to-date services - in order to allow every single producer to create and enlarge commercial deals with advertising companies and single users. This scenario will allow the Digital Artists Consortium to increase his power to deal among distribution channels.
The project is promoted by the Audiovisual Telematics District, with the support of Virtual Artists Inc., Ernst & Young and University of Milan, and it is built up from models and technologies developed by Virtual Artists Inc.
A complete business case will be released soon, containing a first-stage financial plan and a summary of this website. These documents will be presented to Italian producers associations and networks as well as foreign investors, most from Europe.
